Demolition of redundant plants in Trinidad & Tobago

Special features demolition and dismantling of in total 17 installations on two refineries

 

The last year DDM had established a very strong presence in the industrial state of Trinidad and Tobago. DDM is handling the most extensive specialized demolition job for the largest petroleum producer in the country. The project DDM is involved in is one that involves a extensive approach to the Demolition of retired plants. The project involves not only the demolition and dismantling of columns but also the asbestos removal of phased out equipment and piping. The experience and expertise of DDM allows the cutting and lifting of columns, chimneys, and large equipments to run as smooth and efficient as possible. The project relies on excellent communication between the DDM team and the client to ensure proper logistical management is observed. To be able to cater to the tight time frame, careful and accurate planning is required in this project to have the most efficient work force possible. Safety and environmental protection always comes first in the project especially when plants are still running surround the demolition site.
