Planning
Detailed preparation
Before starting on a project, the necessary planning has to be made. A preliminary study, a presentation of the planning and, if required, a 3D-scan enable us to present our plans and discuss these with the clients involved. We aim to achieve the best possible solution so that production losses are restricted to the absolute minimum. A single point of contact is vital throughout the work, whether this involves transportation, disassembly or installation.
Disassembly
The art of forward-thinking
The most impressive part of any relocation project is its dismantling. Every single component, from the largest boiler to the smallest nut, must be removed and logged with absolute precision. Like no other, we know that the very same nut has to fit on the very same bolt from where it originally came. For that reason, at DDM, we have invested large amounts of time in developing standard procedures. The outcome is a comprehensively documented working plan whereby nothing is left to chance. We know that there is no time or place for improvisation when it comes to recommissioning your factory.
Transportation
The art of packing
The art of successful transportation is knowing exactly what needs to be packed and in what way before starting. With that in mind, it is good to know that DDM has all the in-house expertise. We can transport anything and everything, whether it is overland, across the sea or in the air. After all, relocation knows no bounds, and neither do we!
Assembly
The right fit in every place
Guaranteeing a flawless reassembly of your systems involves more than just installing the right tap in the right place at the right time. Unfailingly, our assembly experts are able to fall back on extensive blueprints and manuals prepared by their colleagues at the dismantling stage. In this way they are able to know exactly which nut went onto which bolt and how it must all be reassembled. This saves time and money: after all, what we deliver must perform exactly the same as it did before.
